The amount of green can vary considerably from leaf to leaf.

As it matures, this climbing Monstera develops a sturdy stem and aerial roots. It can then produce larger new leaves with the deep edge splits and openings typical of Monstera deliciosa.

Important: Its unusually high proportion of white foliage makes ‘Super White’ a demanding plant, best suited to experienced growers. White tissue contains very little chlorophyll, so it contributes little to photosynthesis and growth is often slower.

The white areas are especially sensitive to transport and changes in temperature, humidity, light or watering. Dry brown patches may develop during shipping or become visible in the days after delivery. They can also appear later during normal cultivation, even with attentive care and when the plant is otherwise healthy. Some browning of the white foliage over time should be expected.

Stable warmth, bright indirect light, suitable humidity and careful watering help limit further damage, but cannot keep every white section free of brown patches. The plant also needs enough green foliage to support continued growth. If a shoot repeatedly produces almost entirely white leaves, it may weaken, stop growing or eventually die back.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0979/5115/4506/files/monstera-deliciosa-variegata-super-white-foliage-01.webp?v=1780485076
